As a young girl, I distinctively remember my mother buying one brand of hair conditioner, “Blue Magic.” Products made for women of color that tailored to the different styles and textures of hair was limited so, Blue Magic along with Sulfur 8, Royal Crown, Luster Pink Moisturizer, and Dax Pomade were the products I remember growing up on the market. Anyone who can relate know what Blue Magic is? 
I had difficulty learning and understanding my 4C hair. I did not know the process it took so that my hair would be healthy and grow. I started relaxing and coloring my hair because I thought it was the best decision to make. After years of relaxing and coloring, my hair was damaged and fell out. I made the decision to go natural the way my mother upkept me and my sister’s hair without using anything, but you guessed, Blue Magic. After a while I wanted something different, something that was light on my hair and made with no chemicals. After using so many products I decided to make my own. I noticed my hair started growing and looking healthy. I get compliments regularly on how good my hair looks.
